Came here for a Saturday brunch. This is inside Barona. There were plenty of tables available. We ordered our food and got it fairly fast. Cobb salad was decent. Some of the lettuce were soggy. Omelette was good. Hash browns were the best.
Located inside Barona casino, Sage Cafe is open 24 hours and serves a variety of items: breakfast, sandwiches, comfort food, steak, Asian offerings, and more. The ambiance is cozy and relaxing. The window seats have awesome views of the valley. Their Indian fry bread is always a must before our meal. It is addicting and so good hot and fresh, with some added butter, cinnamon, and powder sugar. Albondigas soup is decent. I enjoy their buffalo wings appetizer, I get it with the sauce on the side (I'm not a fan of buffalo sauce). The Prime Rib is great. The Indian Butter Chicken is pretty good. I love French toast, however, their Barona's World Famous French Toast is NOT to my liking... and oh yea, their cheesecake is the best cheesecake in town!
Convenient! Inside Barona casino. Quick and well coordinated service. Fresh and tasty food. Bomb super crispy seasoned fries with most entrees. Unique complementary bread service. Fry bread with softened butter and honey on the side. Plentiful seating for groups of all sizes.
Me and my family love eating here! We are treated like Family here at Sage! The food is great! I love the selection of foods they have. It's so nice that they have International dishes on their menu. And they taste authentic. The staff is amazing! They are very caring and friendly. It is because they have a FABULOUS MANAGER! Michelle, the Sage Manager is simply the BEST! She goes out of her way to help her staff, when needed. She treats her staff and customers like Family. One time, while we were waiting to be seated. I spotted Michelle , take a seat at a customers table, and took her order. I was floored by her, making her customer feel at home. I believe that when you have a great Manager, it shows in the attitudes and service of the staff. It starts with the manager. And Michelle is this Amazing Manager!! Thanks, Michelle and your awesome Staff for always making us feel like we are at your home having a delicious homemade breakfast or meal!! Highly recommend Sage for delicious food and amazing service!!!
Haven't been here in more than 10 years. It was a busy afternoon when my wife and I decided to try this place out. It was my wife's first time here. We had to check in and reserve our seats. The ambiance was serene, with a sense of cleanliness pervading the air. As for the food, it didn't disappoint. I opted for their prime rib, which came with a choice of salad or soup, followed by a delightful serving of ice cream for dessert. The complimentary bread was both flavorful and satisfying. Initially, the service was commendable. However, as we requested our check at the end, time seemed to stretch indefinitely. Eventually, we had to flag down someone to acknowledge our request. Despite this hiccup, we left with a positive impression. Will definitely go back here again on our next visit to Barona Casino.
We experienced excellent service from the staffs. Bulalo was excellent. Tuna melt was great! Steak and eggs was delicious too. We ate at 5am, and the server was very helpful. He's working alone, but made sure we were taken cared of. We highly recommend this place. Located inside Barona Hotel. 1-17-2024
Very roomy, nicely decorative space, especially for the holidays. The wait was a bit strenuous as it didn't seem packed at all but took awhile to get our server over to take our order. The food, though was delicious, yet the calamari was my least favorite ordered as it wasn't up to my standards for what I thought calamari should taste like..it was more like a frozen fried fish stick.. but the fries were perfect. Oxtail soup, I recommend adding extra meat as it's only $5 and some change.. it's so much more filling and who doesn't like extra protein.
